Hue female student becomes university valedictorian with near-perfect score

Dang Tran Tuyet Trinh is a former student majoring in Literature at Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted in Hue. Since her high school years, the Hue girl has always maintained excellent academic and training results. At the age of 18, she was honored to join the ranks of the Communist Party of Vietnam .

Tuyet Trinh chose to study Literature Pedagogy at the University of Education, Hue University after failing the People's Police Academy entrance exam. However, for Trinh, this turning point is a "good fate".

“ Everything that happens to me in this life has a reason. When those things happen, I have the opportunity to look back and improve myself. I always keep in mind that I have to try to live for the present and the future because the past is yesterday,” the valedictorian said.

Tuyet Trinh admits that literature has changed her perception and personality and she feels more mature when pursuing this field of study. “If before I was quite hot-tempered and careless in solving problems, now I have learned how to stay calm in all situations. Literature helps me to listen, understand and be patient with things that do not go as planned,” she added.

To achieve her goal of becoming valedictorian, Tuyet Trinh focused on studying and was also enthusiastic in group activities. During her four years at university, Trinh held the positions of Secretary of the Youth Union, Executive Committee Member of the Literature Faculty Youth Union and Vice President of the Literature Faculty Nobel Club. In each position, she always completed her tasks excellently and "pocketed" valuable skills for herself.

Being proactive is an important key to help female students balance their time between studying and participating in extracurricular activities. Trinh highly values self-study methods. Every semester, she always actively searches for documents and consults the experiences of senior students to draw lessons for herself. At the same time, she proactively reads the textbook in advance, and takes notes on any parts she doesn't understand to research or ask teachers and friends. In addition, the female student memorizes knowledge in the form of mind maps to transform the lecturer's knowledge into her own, which is also a secret that the valedictorian born in 2001 applies.

The Hue female student is also admired by many people for her impressive achievements. She won the Third Prize in the 2020 Nobel Speech Contest; was an excellent student in the 2019-2020 school year; achieved the highest academic results in the Literature Pedagogy major in the 2020-2021 school year; was awarded the title of 5 Good Students and the title of January Star at the school level in 2023...

Trinh's philosophy in life is "man proposes, God disposes". "I always try to pursue my passions, so that I can sow good seeds for this life. Success or failure depends on "heaven's destiny" and luck. Moreover, I learn to balance everything, make long-term plans to carry them out. I accept what happens with the most positive attitude, turning difficulties into motivation to overcome," she explained.

After graduating, Tuyet Trinh started working in her major and studied for a master's degree to continue improving her professional knowledge.
