On the morning of September 17, Foreign Trade University held a ceremony to welcome the new school year 2025-2026 and welcomed more than 3,000 new students of the 64th course.

In the 2025 university entrance exam, Foreign Trade University continues to be one of the schools attracting many students with high results and national valedictorians. This year, the school has 2 new students who are national valedictorians in block A with a total score of 30.

They are Nguyen Le Hien Mai (former 12th grade Chemistry student, Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted, Phu Tho) and Nguyen Dieu Linh (former 12th grade A1 student, Nguyen Trai High School, Hung Yen province) who both passed the Foreign Economic Standard Program.

These are also the candidates with the highest scores to enter the school based on the 2025 high school graduation exam results.

Besides the two female top students in Block A nationwide, Foreign Trade University also honored top students in many other admission methods.

In the admission method based on high school academic results, Nguyen Xuan Duc was admitted to the High Quality Program of Foreign Economics.

Combining his high school academic results and international language certificates, Dang Tung Son became valedictorian when admitted to the High Quality International Economics Program.

The method of using the Competency Assessment test scores recognized Nguyen Ngoc Anh as the leader with the Advanced Program in Foreign Economics.

In the form of combining the 2025 high school exam results and foreign language certificates, Vo Minh Hoa (Advanced Foreign Economics Program) and Huynh Thuy Du (International Career Orientation Program Logistics and Supply Chain Management) held the top position. In addition, Vo Minh Hoa and Nguyen Trung Thanh were also honored as co-valedictorians of the entire school in the A1 admission group; Huynh Huy Cuong led the D07 group; and Nguyen Van Khanh was the candidate with the highest admission score in the Math - Literature - Foreign Language group with 28.25 points, and also had the highest score nationwide in the D04 group.

In her message to new students, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Thu Huong, Principal of Foreign Trade University, said that entering the university environment is entering the journey of "learning to be a master", the process of growing up. "You should start your journey by practicing doing something difficult for yourself every day. Because when we practice doing difficult things, we also train our own courage and discover our own abilities, when you find and promote the excellence in each individual," Ms. Huong said.

Ms. Huong shared that on the next journey, new students will encounter many opportunities as well as challenges, but do not hesitate when deciding to experience new things.

“It is very possible that when we hesitate, we miss the opportunity to explore interesting development paths in the future. When experiencing new things, you may have to face initial failures because you have not accumulated enough experience and capacity, and you may feel a little or a lot of disappointment about yourself when you have not succeeded. But understand that those feelings will pass, nurture the desire to overcome yourself and see failure as an opportunity to reflect on yourself, to learn and practice endurance, to become stronger,” the principal shared.
