Even though they had been in love for 5 years and planned to get married, the guy still decided to break up with his girlfriend to pursue his dream of becoming a tycoon.

Graduate Academy of Finance, H (31 years old) has a stable job at a state-owned company. H and his girlfriend have been in love for 5 years and had planned to get married, but at the last minute H changed his mind.

H thinks that one needs to have a stable economy before getting married, so that life later will be less difficult.

For that reason, H postponed the wedding and applied to work for a private company. However, after changing jobs, H neglected his girlfriend, moved to another place and rarely communicated with people.

H focused all his mind on work, and soon he was promoted to department head. With this promotion, H believed even more that he was on the right track and could become a tycoon.

With a little capital, H invested all his money in stocks. When he first invested, the profits were very good, so he borrowed money and invested more heavily.

Unexpectedly, the stock exchange plummeted, but H was not discouraged and continued to borrow money to invest to recoup the loss, but then all the money evaporated.

H's debt had reached 3 billion, he lost his appetite and sleep, threw himself into drinking, lived a secluded life, occasionally talked nonsense and always had the illusion that he was a rich tycoon. Seeing H's unusual behavior, his family took him to the doctor.

Dr. Tran Thi Hong Thu - Deputy Director of Mai Huong Daytime Psychiatric Hospital said that patient H was diagnosed with depression, had hallucinations and had to take medication as well as receive a combination of other therapies.

After taking the medicine, H's hallucinations gradually subsided. H realized he was wrong in dreaming of getting rich quickly.

According to Dr. Thu, not only H, recently the doctor has met many young people with mental disorders related to economic problems. In particular, there are many cases of mental illness due to the broken dream of getting rich.

There are many reasons why young people suffer from mental disorders, including economic difficulties and the pressure to get rich, which has led to an increase in the number of young people suffering from the disease. Most of the cases of disorder are due to job loss, investing in virtual money to get rich quickly and then losing money, debt that causes life to fall into a deadlock, affecting family life, leading to mental disorders or depression.

Dr. Thu said that economic pressure is inevitable, especially for young people, but everyone needs to know their "strength" to make appropriate investment decisions. In addition, it is necessary to take the best care of mental health by eating a balanced diet, keeping a cheerful spirit, exercising regularly and getting enough sleep.

In case of prolonged pressure, the patient will feel disappointed, underestimate themselves, have insomnia, abuse alcohol, have hallucinations... then they should go to the doctor early for diagnosis and early treatment.
