Mr. Le Tien Chau continues to hold the position of Secretary of Hai Phong City Party Committee

(Dan Tri) - The Politburo appointed the Hai Phong Party Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term consisting of 78 members, the Standing Committee of 20 members; Mr. Le Tien Chau continues to be Secretary of the City Party Committee.

On September 27, at the 1st Congress of Hai Phong City Party Committee, term 2025-2030, the Central Organizing Committee announced the Politburo 's decision on the personnel of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and key positions of the City Party Committee.

According to the decision, the Executive Committee of the Hai Phong City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term consists of 78 people; the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee consists of 20 people.

Mr. Le Tien Chau, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the City's 15th National Assembly Delegation, continues to hold the position of Secretary of the City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. Mr. Do Manh Hien holds the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee.

The Deputy Secretaries of the City Party Committee include: Mr. Le Van Hieu, Chairman of the City People's Council; Mr. Le Ngoc Chau, Chairman of the City People's Committee, were introduced to continue holding this position for the 2026-2031 term; Mr. Pham Van Lap, Chairman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, was introduced to hold the position of Chairman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

In his acceptance speech, Secretary of the City Party Committee Le Tien Chau thanked the Central Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat and the Congress for their trust. He emphasized that this is a great honor and a great responsibility before the Party, the State and the people.

Mr. Chau affirmed that the City Party Executive Committee will be united, courageous, and dedicated to serving the Fatherland and the people, determined to successfully implement the Resolution of the 1st Congress, and build Hai Phong into a modern, civilized, ecological, and livable industrial port city of the Southeast Asian region.

At the Congress, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Do Manh Hien announced the Politburo's decision to appoint a delegation of the Hai Phong City Party Committee to attend the 14th National Party Congress, including 44 official delegates and 3 alternate delegates.

The Secretariat also decided to establish the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 11 members. Mr. Vu Hong Hien holds the position of Chairman of the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee.
