On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024), on the morning of July 14, the provincial working delegation led by Comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee came to offer flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at Truong Bon Historical Site, Do Luong Martyrs Cemetery and presented gifts to the wounded soldiers.

During the resistance war against the US to save the country, National Highway 15A, associated with Truong Bon, was a particularly important strategic location, connecting the North-South traffic arteries. Truong Bon became the fire coordinate in the escalating bombings of the US imperialists in the North. Here, 1,240 officers and soldiers bravely fought and heroically sacrificed. Among them were 13 youth volunteers of the "Steel Squad" of Company 317, Team 65, Youth Volunteers General Team against the US to save the country, Nghe An province.
