Bau Can commune was established on the basis of the arrangement of the original status of 3 commune-level administrative units including: Thang Hung, Bau Can and Binh Giao, with a natural area of 124.77 km2. The whole commune has 19 hamlets with 7,973 households; there are 7 ethnic groups living together, of which ethnic minorities account for 32.6% of the population.
The Commune Party Committee has 32 Party cells with over 590 Party members. In order to operate the organizational apparatus after the merger, the Bau Can Commune Party Committee has assigned and arranged cadres, civil servants, and professional department employees in accordance with the assigned functions and tasks. Along with that, the Commune Party Committee and People's Committee have fully prepared the conditions for the smooth operation of the Public Administration Service Center.
Currently, the Commune Public Administration Service Center has digital signatures, fully equipped basic operating facilities; smooth network infrastructure, and has initially received and returned administrative procedure settlement results on the national public service software.

At the working session, the team of cadres, civil servants and public employees of Bau Can commune raised a number of difficulties and problems in organizing the implementation of tasks after the merger; at the same time, proposed a number of contents such as: requesting financial support for investment, upgrading facilities, equipment to serve professional work and effectively implementing digital transformation tasks in the locality; organizing training courses, fostering skills in information technology, digital transformation for the team of cadres and civil servants...
After recording the opinions and proposals, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Chau Ngoc Tuan requested representatives of the leaders of the provincial departments, branches and units to discuss, clarify and propose specific solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles in the operation of the organizational apparatus of Bau Can commune, as well as the implementation of the commune's political tasks in the coming time.
Concluding the working session, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Chau Ngoc Tuan acknowledged and commended the initiative of the Party Committee and government of Bau Can commune in implementing tasks immediately after merging administrative units and operating according to the 2-level local government model.

Comrade Chau Ngoc Tuan emphasized: Bau Can Commune is a locality with many favorable conditions in terms of geographical location, natural area, population, economic development potential, etc. Therefore, in the coming time, the commune needs to have solutions to exploit the potentials, serving the socio-economic development of the commune and this content needs to be included in the documents of the Commune Party Congress for the term 2025-2030.
Along with that, the Bau Can Commune Party Committee needs to prepare well for the personnel work for the Commune Party Congress, clearly determining the time to hold the Congress. In response to the new task requirements, Comrade Chau Ngoc Tuan requested that the cadres, civil servants and public employees of Bau Can Commune need to self-train, learn and improve to improve their professional tasks, meeting the increasingly high and numerous work requirements.
On this occasion, comrade Chau Ngoc Tuan presented gifts from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to the Party Committee, People's Committee, and armed forces of Bau Can commune. At the same time, he inspected the activities of the Bau Can Commune Public Administration Service Center.
