Therefore, promoting the role of the team of lawyers in disseminating, educating the law and providing legal aid (LLA) to the people is necessary.

Thanh Hoa Provincial Bar Association disseminates and educates on the law and provides legal aid to people in Bat Mot commune (Thuong Xuan).

In March 2025, the Provincial Bar Association coordinated with the People's Committee of Thuong Xuan district to organize a program to disseminate the law, provide free legal aid and give gifts to people in difficult circumstances in Bat Mot commune. The program focused on disseminating and consulting on the Law on Juvenile Justice; regulations on preventing and combating domestic violence, school violence; laws on marriage - family, labor, employment, etc.

In recent years, Thanh Hoa province has a rapidly growing team of lawyers. Currently, the Provincial Bar Association has 39 practicing organizations, with 130 lawyers. The team of lawyers are those who are well-trained in legal knowledge, have skills and experience in legal advice and litigation. In the period of 2019-2024, lawyers of the Provincial Bar Association participated in 2,053 criminal cases to defend suspects and defendants, protect the legitimate rights of victims; participated in protecting the rights of litigants in 379 civil and administrative cases; provided legal advice in the field of business and commerce for litigants in 109 cases; represented 27 cases outside of litigation; provided legal advice for over 7,200 other cases, including free legal advice and assistance. From the beginning of 2025 to now, law practice organizations have performed 495 tasks, of which 135 tasks were in the litigation field, 259 tasks were in legal consultancy and other legal services, and 92 tasks were in legal aid.

More notably, lawyers in the province have also actively participated in free legal consultation and legal aid activities for the poor and policy beneficiaries. The Provincial Bar Association and professional organizations have successfully organized many free legal consultation sessions for organizations and individuals on the occasion of the Bar Association's founding anniversary (July 12), Vietnam Lawyers' Day (October 10), and Vietnam Law Day (November 9). Participated in legal consultation and answers in many columns published in the mass media; supported the dissemination and popularization of law to the business community through the Provincial Business Association; provided legal advice to students at schools. At the same time, signed a cooperation agreement with Hong Duc University, participated in mock trials, participated in consulting and orienting future careers for new law students of the school; organized free mobile legal aid programs and gave gifts to ethnic minorities in mountainous areas of the province. In the activities of legal dissemination and education, the Provincial Bar Association and the team of lawyers focus on propagating newly amended laws and regulations that have a profound impact on all aspects of social life, such as: Land Law 2024, Law on Identification, Civil Code, Penal Code...

Lawyer Nguyen Duc Tai, Vice Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial Bar Association, Director of Viny Law Company Limited, said: The Provincial Bar Association always actively encourages and motivates lawyers to promote their roles and responsibilities, and actively participate in the work of legal dissemination and legal aid for the people. The implementation perspective is to have a focus, key points, and correct and accurate issues that people are interested in and need. To promote the role of the team of lawyers in legal dissemination and legal aid activities, it is necessary to have more close coordination with functional agencies, foster skills and expertise for the team of lawyers, apply technology and social networks to spread legal information in a concise, succinct, and easy-to-understand way to all people. At the same time, promptly reward organizations and individuals who actively participate in legal dissemination and legal aid work.
