The delegation included comrade Nguyen Thanh Hai, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Head of the Delegation Affairs Committee (under the National Assembly Standing Committee), Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee; comrade Hoang Duy Chinh, member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council .
The leaders of Thai Nguyen province include comrade Trinh Xuan Truong, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; and Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee.
Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Le Minh Hoan and the delegation directly visited and encouraged households that suffered heavy losses due to floods. The delegation visited Mr. Pham Van Thinh, 97 years old, Chay hamlet, Ha Chau commune - a household whose house was flooded up to the roof, and had to take temporary shelter at a neighbor's house. Chay hamlet currently has 78 households with 358 people, of which 53 households were deeply flooded, many households had to be urgently evacuated.
Here, comrade Le Minh Hoan kindly asked about the living situation, health, shared the difficulties of the people; encouraged the people to maintain their spirit, unite, support each other to overcome the consequences, and soon stabilize their lives. The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly affirmed: Natural disasters cause great damage, but the most important thing is that the people are safe. The Central and local governments will always accompany and support the people to quickly overcome difficulties, rebuild their houses, and restore production.

On this occasion, the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly presented 200 gifts to support people in Diem Thuy commune who were severely affected by natural disasters; of which, 10 were given directly, the rest were assigned to the commune government to distribute to poor households, policy families, and households with severe damage in the area.
According to a quick report from the People's Committee of Diem Thuy commune, due to the impact of storm No. 11, many areas in the commune were deeply flooded on a large scale; more than 3,200 households were affected, over 1,400 households had to be urgently evacuated, hundreds of hectares of rice and crops were damaged.
