Cho Ra Commune urgently evacuated 3 households due to the risk of landslides.

On the morning of October 9, at Km31+980, Provincial Road 258, in Na Mo village, Cho Ra commune, a large amount of rock and soil fell onto the road, posing a safety risk to 3 households. Immediately after the landslide occurred, the leaders of the commune People's Committee arrived to assess the situation and directed local forces to assist people in emergency evacuation to ensure safety.

Leaders of Cho Ra Commune People's Committee came to the scene to grasp the actual situation and direct the remedial measures.

After inspecting the landslide site, the leaders of Cho Ra Commune People's Committee have propagated and mobilized people living in this area to evacuate early to ensure safety. At the same time, temporarily banned vehicles from participating in traffic through the above-mentioned road section.

Landslide location, rocks and soil have overflowed across the road near a resident's house.

Along with that, Road Management Department No. 3, under Bac Kan Traffic Management and Construction Joint Stock Company, has arranged excavators to clear the land to soon restore traffic.

Forces of Cho Ra commune and Na Mo village are coordinating with functional units to mobilize human resources and equipment to level and clear rocks and soil to soon clear the route to ensure traffic safety in the shortest time. Propaganda for people to raise vigilance, regularly be on duty, monitor weather and climate, and have warnings in places at risk of landslides.

Immediately after the landslide occurred, authorities deployed excavators to level the road to quickly clear the route.

Although the weather is sunny, the provincial and inter-commune roads in the northern communes of Thai Nguyen province still have many weak soil areas and high risk of landslides, especially in high slope areas. People and vehicles traveling on the roads need to pay attention to ensure safety while traveling.
