On September 28, Ms. Do Thi Hong Hue , Vice Principal of Kim Thuy Primary Boarding School, went to Le Thuy Regional General Hospital to visit the students who were being treated. She brought 1 million VND, which she said was her personal money, to support the students. However, the parents present at the hospital all refused to accept it, saying it was not appropriate.

Ms. Hue shared that after the incident, she and the principal arranged for three cars to take the students to the hospital, and expressed her hope for parents’ sympathy. Due to her busy work responding to the storm, she only stayed to visit for a short time.
Previously, as Thanh Nien reported, on the morning of September 26, after breakfast at school, many students showed symptoms of stomachache, vomiting, and diarrhea. The school then coordinated with parents and authorities to take 40 students to the hospital. They were diagnosed with gastroenteritis suspected of being caused by food poisoning, and treated with IV fluids and antibiotics. Currently, their health is stable.
At the same time, local authorities are verifying the clip and audio recording that went viral, capturing the scene at the school's medical room. In it, the person believed to be Ms. Hue did not agree to take the student to the hospital immediately, despite the medical staff's request. Ms. Hue explained that the delay in taking the student to the hospital was because she was waiting for a car to replace a motorbike.
