According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the Hanoi area on December 14 will be very cold, with temperatures ranging from 10-14 degrees Celsius. Observations this morning showed that the streets were deserted with few people passing by.

People who work outdoors or have to go out are very well prepared with coats, scarves, hats... to keep their bodies warm.

On Hoan Kiem Lake walking street at 8am, the outside temperature is about 13 degrees Celsius. There are a few people jogging or sightseeing on the street.

Some young people took advantage of the weekend to go to Hoan Kiem Lake to take photos in advance of Tet. "I tried to endure the cold to have a nice photo, the cold weather made it more deserted than usual", Tran Thi Hang (Ha Dong district) shared.

Thong Nhat Park (Hai Ba Trung District) is usually crowded with people exercising, but today it is quite deserted.

"Before leaving the house, my wife and I dressed warmly, prepared towels and hats for the baby," said Mr. Nhat Tan (Hoang Mai district).

It's cold so many families limit their children from going out.

Phan Dinh Phung Street is deserted of 'muses'.

The road along West Lake is still deserted at nearly 9 o'clock, with only occasional passersby.

The "pedaling duck" service at Truc Bach Lake is not ideal on cold days.

Coffee shops along West Lake are deserted on weekends.

Although it was a weekend, at 10am, Hanoi Zoo was deserted.
