Phu Quoc hopes to develop resort aviation

Pursuing the resort aviation model, the Sun PhuQuoc Airways project has just been approved in principle, opening up the hope of becoming a new door to bring Phu Quoc closer to domestic and foreign tourists. From there, stimulating the number of domestic and international visitors for the Vietnamese tourism industry.

The project places Phu Quoc at the center connecting domestic and international destinations.

The project chooses to develop a “hub and spoke” flight network, placing Phu Quoc as the focal point, directly connecting major domestic and international cities, shortening the journey and reducing dependence on transit.

Not stopping at popular destinations, Sun PhuQuoc Airways also expands its flight network to potential tourism markets that have not yet had direct flights before.

With the advantage of Phu Quoc being a visa-free destination for international tourists, direct international flights will create a great leverage to welcome visitors from all over the world to the pearl island more easily than ever.

At the same time, domestic passengers will also benefit from the multi-point flight network, helping people from localities access Phu Quoc more conveniently and quickly.

The project will connect Vietnam's pearl island with major economic and tourist centers in the country such as: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang City and other key provinces and cities.

For the international market, the project aims to connect Phu Quoc with major cities and leading tourist centers in Asia, including destinations in Japan, South Korea and China, as well as several other potential markets in the region.

Notably, “resort aviation” is the concept that the project aspires to achieve. This new model is a combination of transportation and travel experience.

Accordingly, each flight is not only a means of transportation but also a space to start a vacation, so that tourists can enjoy it right from the moment they set foot on the plane and wander in the sky.

With the vision of turning each plane into a "resort in the sky", passengers will enjoy comfortable flights, with amenities and services that make them feel like they are relaxing and resting.

Service standards are created to facilitate all customers to use direct flights quickly and conveniently.

The design space is imbued with the colors of Phu Quoc island, from the aircraft paint color to the cabin interior, music, cuisine... The airline aims to make sure that passengers can immediately feel the breath and beauty of Phu Quoc as soon as they step on the plane and lie down on their seats to relax.

Sun PhuQuoc Airways is also identified as a strategic piece in the ecosystem created by Sun Group on the pearl island. With resorts, entertainment complexes, private beaches, restaurants, shows, etc., the airline will directly connect passengers to these unique resorts, creating a seamless experience.
