Phu Tho commends 210 advanced models in the patriotic emulation movement

Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan awarded the First and Second Class Labor Medals to leaders and former leaders of Phu Tho province.

At the congress, Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Tho province Tran Duy Dong said that 77 years ago, President Ho Chi Minh issued a call for patriotic emulation. That sacred call has always been a torch to light the way, arousing and fostering the indomitable, creative and resilient spirit of many Vietnamese people.

Imbued with Ho Chi Minh's thought on patriotic emulation, at all historical moments, the Party Committee, government and people of the three provinces of Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc and Hoa Binh (now Phu Tho province) have always promoted the spirit of patriotic emulation, the fine traditions of the homeland, been dynamic, creative, and pioneers in emulation movements, actively contributing to the cause of national construction and development.

Many advanced models with good and creative ways of doing things have been honored and rewarded promptly, creating a widespread influence.

In the past 5 years, the whole province has had nearly 1,800 collectives and individuals awarded at the State level, and more than 30,000 collectives and individuals awarded at the provincial level.

In particular, the emulation and reward work of the province continues to be innovated in content, organization methods, emulation towards the grassroots, remote and isolated areas; focusing on rewarding farmers, workers and laborers, has encouraged all levels, sectors, business communities and people...

In the period of 2025-2030, Phu Tho province continues to innovate and improve the quality of patriotic emulation movements, associated with effectively implementing the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle.

By 2030, Phu Tho strives to be one of the growth poles of the capital region, becoming a center of industry, trade, logistics, tourism, high-quality education and training and organizing large cultural festivals associated with national origins; a center for organizing national and international events of the region; by 2045, becoming a centrally-run city...

Phu Tho Provincial Party Secretary Truong Quoc Huy awarded the Second Class Labor Medal to individuals with achievements in the patriotic emulation movement.

Speaking at the congress, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan affirmed that over the past 5 years, the patriotic emulation movement launched by the Central Government has been implemented synchronously and closely in line with reality by Phu Tho province, creating a vibrant emulation atmosphere that has spread widely throughout society, bringing practical results, contributing to the province's strong economic recovery after the Covid-19 pandemic.

GRDP increased by an average of 7.5% per year, higher than the national average. The economic scale increased rapidly, estimated to reach 390 trillion VND in 2025, an increase of 1.56 times; GRDP per capita in 2025 is estimated to reach 105.2 million VND, an increase of 1.48 times compared to 2020. Total budget revenue for 5 years reached nearly 245 trillion VND.

Party committees and authorities at all levels have promoted the role of emulation and reward work well. The reward work has had many innovations, ensuring accuracy, fairness and timeliness; focusing on praising direct workers and advanced models in movements and campaigns, thereby encouraging and spreading the spirit of patriotic emulation among all classes of people.

Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Tho province Tran Duy Dong and Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Bui Duc Hinh awarded Certificates of Merit of the Provincial People's Committee to individuals.

The Vice President suggested that Phu Tho province continue to attach importance to and constantly innovate emulation and reward work in accordance with local realities. Thereby, it aims to arouse patriotism so that each emulation movement and campaign must become a joy and enthusiasm for studying, working and working for everyone, every family.

Continue to improve and enhance the quality of the team doing emulation and reward work to be truly skilled, dedicated, highly responsible, and work effectively to meet the requirements of the tasks in the new period.

The Vice President believes that after this patriotic emulation congress, the "flame" of patriotic emulation will continue to be lit brighter to transform the strength of patriotism and solidarity of the political system and ethnic people of Phu Tho province, contributing to building the homeland of the Fatherland to become increasingly civilized, prosperous and beautiful in the new era.
