Binh Duc Ward inaugurated the Medical Station bridge

Construction of the Medical Station Bridge began on March 19, 2025, and was completed after 5 months of urgent construction.

The bridge is 30m long, 5m wide, 6m clear, 3-span reinforced concrete structure, ensuring technical and traffic safety.

The total cost of building the bridge is nearly 700 million VND from socialized sources, contributions from philanthropists, businesses, and people inside and outside the area.

This is a project to welcome the 1st Congress of Binh Duc Ward Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030 (held on August 19 and 20); celebrate the 137th birthday of President Ton Duc Thang (August 20, 1888 - August 20, 2025); 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

Delegates performed the bridge inauguration ceremony.

Mr. Tran Banh (resident of Binh Duc 2 hamlet) said: "The old iron bridge has degraded, the bridge surface is narrow, and does not ensure traffic safety. When the locality started to build a new bridge, we were very happy, not afraid of difficulties, and joined hands to complete the construction as soon as possible."

Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Duc Ward Vo Van Hoa awarded certificates of merit to people who actively contributed to the construction of the bridge.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Binh Duc Ward honored the outstanding contributions of 4 individuals and businesses; rewarded the collective of Brigade 6 (Military Region 9) and 8 individuals who actively contributed to the construction of the Medical Station bridge.

Earlier, on the same morning, the Party Committee and People's Committee of Binh Duc Ward held a flower offering ceremony at the Monument of President Ton Duc Thang (Long Xuyen Ward). In a solemn atmosphere, the leaders, cadres, civil servants and public employees of the ward expressed their deep gratitude to President Ton Duc Thang - a staunch communist soldier, an exemplary leader of the Vietnamese revolution, who devoted his entire life to the cause of national liberation, national reunification, for the freedom and happiness of the people.
