In 2025, the International Day of the Girl Child will be celebrated with the theme “Investing in girls for family happiness, for the future of the country”. This theme emphasizes the importance of caring for and investing in girls not only for their own immediate benefits but also for the well-being and happiness of each family and the prosperity and prosperity of the country in the future.

The healthy, safe and equal development of girls is a solid foundation for a progressive, fair and prosperous society in the future. When giving girls the opportunity to learn, to be listened to, to live in an environment free from violence and discrimination, we are contributing to the creation of a generation of strong, confident, knowledgeable and enthusiastic citizens.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of Giang Vo Ward People's Committee Le Thi Thu Ha called on all levels, sectors, socio- political organizations and the community to join hands to actively promote and educate about children's rights, gender equality, prevention of violence and abuse against girls; and change prejudices and backward thinking about the role and position of girls in the family and society.

The Vice Chairman of Giang Vo Ward People's Committee also called for building a safe and healthy living and learning environment for girls; strictly handling all acts of abuse and violence against them; strengthening communication, equipping them with knowledge and self-defense skills, especially ensuring safety in cyberspace.
Ensure girls have equal access to high-quality education , health and cultural services. At the same time, encourage and support them to develop their abilities, pursue their dreams and fully participate in social activities.
“It is necessary to respect and create a mechanism for girls to express their opinions and wishes on issues related to them. They are important subjects in building policies and programs for their own development,” Vice Chairwoman of Giang Vo Ward People’s Committee Le Thi Thu Ha emphasized.
