Spreading the message of gender equality and preventing domestic violence

On September 26, in Ho Thi Ky commune, the Women's Union of Ca Mau province organized a conference to deploy knowledge, skills and methods of propaganda on gender equality, domestic violence prevention and victim support.

Ca Mau Provincial Women's Union deploys contents on gender equality and domestic violence prevention.

The activity is within the framework of Project 8 “Implementing gender equality and solving urgent issues for women and children”, with the participation of more than 50 delegates representing local authorities, members of community media groups and prestigious people among ethnic minorities.

Delegates attentively listened to the sharing of knowledge and skills in propaganda to prevent domestic violence and gender equality.

Delegates were updated with legal knowledge on gender equality, skills to prevent domestic violence, methods of approaching, consulting and supporting victims, and shared experiences in propaganda suitable for each target group.

According to the plan, the Provincial Women's Union will organize 8 classes in the communes of U Minh, Tran Van Thoi, Ho Thi Ky, Tan Loc, Dat Mui, Dat Moi, Tan Thuan and Luong The Tran, contributing to building a safe and healthy social environment for women and children.
