Tung Thien Ward: People care about environmental issues, granting land use right certificates

On the afternoon of October 21, the Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee of Tung Thien ward organized a dialogue conference between the heads of the ward Party Committee and government with the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and people's representatives in the ward.

Reporting at the conference on the socio -economic development situation in the ward in the first 9 months of 2025, Chief of Office of the People's Council and People's Committee of Tung Thien Ward Tran The Dat said that as of October 14, the state budget revenue in the ward was 10,248 billion VND, reaching 178.1% of the assigned plan; the ward budget revenue was more than 287.55 billion VND, reaching 122.1% of the assigned plan; the ward is implementing 7 projects and completing investment procedures for 1 project...

At the dialogue, many residents of Tung Thien ward raised opinions related to the environment, clean water, granting land use right certificates, site clearance for projects in the area, and repairing and upgrading some roads and alleys.

Mr. Phung Van Tho in residential group 2 - Trung Son Tram requested the local government to completely handle the asphalt mixing station that affects the environment and people's health; create conditions for people to re-issue land use right certificates after donating land for road construction; completely resolve land disputes in Dong Chuong area between those who were previously allocated land by the People's Committee of Son Tay town and those whose land was recovered; pay attention to lonely and elderly cases who cannot pay taxes via Etax mobi; renovate alley 41, lane 216, open a path through the median strip of National Highway 21A opposite lane 216 of Trung Son Tram street, creating convenience for people to travel.

Mr. Nguyen Trung Thanh, Head of the Elderly Association of Vi Thuy residential group, requested that competent authorities quickly resolve the work of correcting land use right certificates for people after clearing the land for Highway 413, and return the land use right certificates to his family and households related to the site clearance.

Notably, the water channel managed by Song Tich Company, from the Hang River pumping station to Vi Thuy 1 residential group, the water stagnates after each pumping, turning black over time, causing environmental pollution in residential groups 9 and 10 - Vi Thuy. Regarding the excessive noise from the metal plating workshop, belonging to Factory Z151, people have long complained, but it has not been resolved, affecting the daily life of people in the area, it needs to be inspected by the ward and relevant agencies, and measures should be taken soon to restore a safe environment for people.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tan, Party Cell Secretary, Head of the Quang Dai Residential Front Committee, requested the ward leaders and relevant agencies to pay attention to and promptly repair and upgrade the inter-village road from Dong Doi through Quang Dai to Thu Trung, which is currently seriously degraded; and to consider and guide 13 households that were allocated land by Factory Z155 since 1990, but have not yet been granted land use right certificates.

Mr. Le Van Tu, Head of the Tay Vi Neighborhood Front Committee, requested that the locality pay attention to the issues of installing clean water pipes to alleys and lanes; the internal roads and internal irrigation canals have not been invested in, affecting people's travel and production; the Dong Ngua dam culvert has seriously eroded, causing the risk of road collapse...

Some residents of Tung Thien ward reflected and requested that the locality and relevant units pay attention to adjusting reasonable waste collection hours; speeding up the progress of site clearance for road 414; investing in renovating and upgrading roads and drainage ditches in some sections of lane 98C, lanes 70, 74, 80, 121, 123 of My Trung street, alley 4/19/98C, lanes 21, 60, 70, 72, 74, 76/98C, which were built by the people themselves more than 20 years ago and are now seriously degraded...

At the conference, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tung Thien Ward Nguyen Viet Dat answered questions within his authority and said that for other areas, the ward will fully synthesize and forward them to the City People's Committee, relevant departments, agencies and units for consideration, resolution and response according to regulations.
