Yen Tu Ward: Meeting with businesses on Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day October 13

On the occasion of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day October 13, on the evening of October 9, Yen Tu Ward People's Committee organized a meeting with 76 typical enterprises and cooperatives, representing nearly 250 enterprises, cooperatives and hundreds of individual business households operating in the ward.

Yen Tu ward leaders presented flowers to congratulate businesses and entrepreneurs in the area.

Speaking at the meeting, the leaders of Yen Tu ward expressed their respect and gratitude for the great efforts and contributions of businesses, entrepreneurs, cooperatives and business households to the overall development of the ward in the past time. Since July, Yen Tu ward has successfully organized many cultural and sports events associated with Yen Tu heritage, thereby welcoming over 1.63 million visitors, with revenue reaching over VND 1,061 billion. Total local budget revenue in the first 9 months reached VND 159 billion, equal to 346% of the estimate, of which land use fees were over VND 88 billion, exceeding the plan by more than 300%. This result has a great contribution from the business community in the area.

Along with the two-level government officially coming into operation since July 1, there have been very positive movements in the ward. Yen Tu Heritage is located in the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son - Kiep Bac heritage cluster, which has been honored as a World Cultural Heritage; many dynamic projects with large investment capital are being and are about to be implemented. Phuong Nam Industrial Cluster has attracted 49 secondary investors with a total registered capital of about 2,000 billion VND. Yen Tu Ward has also proposed 19 infrastructure projects with a total investment of over 1,839 billion VND. This is an opportunity and also a challenge for the business community to grasp and develop.

Leaders of Yen Tu ward and representatives of enterprises, cooperatives, and business households participated in supporting people to overcome the damage caused by storms No. 10 and No. 11.

The leaders of Yen Tu ward committed to accompany, be ready to remove difficulties, reform administrative procedures, improve the investment environment, create the most favorable conditions for enterprises, cooperatives and production and business households to develop sustainably. He called on enterprises, cooperatives and business households in the area to innovate and take advantage of existing infrastructure, seize opportunities to invest in expanding and forming new production and business projects; contributing to the economic development orientation of the ward which is heritage economy, industry, green and clean agriculture, and environmental protection.

Also in the meeting program, Yen Tu Ward People's Committee announced the Decision on recognizing the Steering Committee for the establishment of Yen Tu Ward Business Association, Quang Ninh province and the Decision on allowing the establishment of Yen Tu Ward Business Association.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Yen Tu ward also called on businesses, cooperatives and individual business households to join hands to support people in overcoming the damage caused by storms No. 10 and No. 11.
