Tay Ho District presented 40 gifts to children in difficult circumstances.

The event aims to create a cultural space with humanistic meaning for children and people of the Capital right after storm No. 3. Within the framework of the Opening Ceremony, many activities were organized such as lion dance; "Sparkling colors of Tay Ho Mid-Autumn Festival" program; Giving Mid-Autumn gifts to children; Awarding prizes for the "Full Moon Night Feast" contest; "Mid-Autumn Festival Colors 2nd time" painting contest, "Connecting love in 2024" photo contest....

Representatives of the People's Committee of Tay Ho district and delegates presented 40 gifts to children in the district with difficult circumstances and excellent academic achievements.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Chairman of Tay Ho District People's Committee Nguyen Dinh Khuyen said: "The program is organized with the aim of preserving, conserving and promoting traditional cultural values, providing children with a useful space to play on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival. More importantly, this activity also helps Tay Ho District promote tourism development and promote its image to tourists."

Within the framework of the program, Tay Ho District and the Institute of Vietnamese Ethnic Culture Studies, together with a team of artists and artisans, have built a special space called the Ancient Mid-Autumn Festival Space. The space includes booths with bold Northern cultural designs, very close to daily life in the Vietnamese countryside such as: communal house yard, water wharf, star fruit tree, pond bank, bamboo fence, fence, well, water jar with coconut shell... with special events such as: sticky rice cooking, lantern procession and floating flower lanterns; displaying five-fruit trays; traditional flower arrangements; enjoying West Lake lotus tea, green rice pudding; visiting the space displaying traditional Mid-Autumn art photos; instructions on making traditional moon cakes, making Mid-Autumn toys, drawing papier-mâché masks, traditional masks, star lanterns, crab lanterns, traditional fish lanterns, making clay figurines, bamboo dragonflies, military lanterns, hanging lanterns on the wishing tree...; admire and participate in lion dance competitions, folk games such as jumping rope, tug of war, hopscotch, chess...

Mid-Autumn Festival cultural space attracts the participation of many tourists

On this occasion, there are more than 100 booths to introduce and promote typical and typical products and craft villages of Hanoi city; booths to display, introduce and trade products of enterprises from provinces and cities; space for product demonstration, tourism and culture promotion; decorative landscape space, stage, welcome gate combined with check-in areas with the Mid-Autumn theme. The 2024 Mid-Autumn Festival is a meaningful gift that all levels and sectors of Tay Ho district organize for teenagers and children in the district, creating motivation and confidence for students to confidently enter the new school year 2024 - 2025.
