Author and MC Hai Trieu spreads reading culture at An Khanh Book Festival - Book Fest 2025

By taking on the role of Reading Culture Ambassador of the An Khanh Book Festival - Book Fest 2025 program taking place from October 1 to 5 at Saigon Riverside Park (An Khanh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City), author and MC Hai Trieu has made a new mark on the journey of spreading the love of books.

With the theme "Cultural flow at the gateway to the Eastern Urban Area", An Khanh Book Festival - Book Fest 2025 is expected to attract about 50,000 visitors, providing a useful living space for people who share a passion for reading.

Being entrusted with the role of Reading Culture Ambassador, Hai Trieu is extremely happy and honored. For him, meaningful community programs such as An Khanh Book Festival - Book Fest 2025 are opportunities for him to join hands in spreading reading culture to everyone. Therefore, despite being busy with many roles such as lecturer, MC... he still arranges his work to accompany the event.

At the talk show “Change from the pages of books”, Hai Trieu said that books have a special meaning to him. Not only providing knowledge, books are also a place for him to share and absorb the stories and experiences of the author through each stage, thereby gaining more motivation and direction to continue pursuing his own dream and passion.

“I think that for anyone, having a book “at the head” is important. Because it can cherish and make your dreams come true, just like how each work, each sentence in it comforts you” – Hai Trieu shared.

In addition to his activities in the field of art, Hai Trieu is also known as a young author with two published books, “Love someone who already has a lover” and “What to say to make students happy”. In this role, he realizes that introducing and bringing his words and experiences closer to readers is important. Therefore, in the future, he affirms that he will continue to take action to help young people have more access to books.

“In my teaching process, I also incorporate many good books for my students. I think this is necessary to help them develop themselves from the pages of books,” he said.

When asked about the secret to effective reading, Hai Trieu said the first factor is the love for books. According to him, this is closely related to choosing the right work for your needs and writing style. Therefore, listening to advice from friends or people who have read it before is necessary.

“Choosing a suitable work is extremely important because it helps us easily touch the author's emotions, confidently stand up after failures and be more courageous in life. Books are also giving me more faith and motivation to continue on the journey from an author to a real writer” – Hai Trieu affirmed.

The "An Khanh - Book Fest 2025" book festival is open to the public and lasts until October 5, 2025, offering 7 unique experiential spaces: book exhibition; books and digital technology ; books and trees; children's games; youth start-ups; cultural heritage; culinary culture. The festival also offers a series of cultural and artistic exchange activities, creating a healthy playground for children and book lovers, contributing to building reading habits in the community.
