Quang Nam will pilot the issuance of Criminal Records via the VNeID application from October 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025.

Accordingly, departments, branches, sectors, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities organize information and propaganda on Plan 5723 dated August 1, 2024 of the Provincial People's Committee on implementing the issuance of Criminal Records on the VNeID application in Quang Nam for individuals and organizations at units and localities.

Based on assigned functions and tasks, departments and branches shall promptly and effectively implement the contents and tasks assigned in Plan 5723 to ensure the necessary conditions for piloting the issuance of Criminal Records via the VNeID application in the province from October 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Information and Communications to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Justice, the Provincial Police, the Provincial People's Committee Office and relevant units to urgently connect the Provincial Administrative Procedure Information System with the shared Criminal Record Management System software of the Ministry of Justice and the VNeID application of the Ministry of Public Security, and related specialized databases to serve the settlement of administrative procedures on the issuance of Criminal Record Certificates via the VneID application, to be completed before September 15, 2024.

The Provincial Police continue to review and inspect the issuance of electronic identification accounts to people to meet the conditions for requesting issuance of Criminal Records on the VNeID application; coordinate with the Department of Information and Communications to complete the connection and provision of public services for issuance of Criminal Records via the VNeID application before October 1, 2024.

The Public Administration Service Center - Provincial People's Committee Office allocates resources to pilot the issuance of Criminal Records via the VNeID application in the province from October 1, 2024.

The Provincial People's Committee also assigned the Department of Justice to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Information and Communications, the Provincial People's Committee Office, the Provincial Police and relevant agencies to promptly and properly issue Criminal Records on VNeID.

Instruct individuals and organizations to choose the method of issuing Criminal Records on the VneID application; organize propaganda on policies and laws on providing and issuing Criminal Records via the VNeID application for organizations and individuals to learn and implement.

At the same time, focus on building and perfecting the Criminal Record Database in the province, meeting the requirements for information lookup, ensuring the issuance of Criminal Record Certificates in accordance with regulations.
