On October 21, at a working session with the communes of Sa Thay, Sa Binh, Ya Ly, Ro Koi, and Mo Rai, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province Nguyen Hoang Giang requested the staff of remote, isolated, and border communes in the west of the province to change their thinking, mindset, and way of doing things, to think deeply and act big, and determination must go hand in hand with action.

At the meeting, the leaders of the communes recommended that the province pay attention and allocate funds to establish a general planning project for the commune; promptly allocate funds for localities to upgrade facilities and equipment for agencies and units, especially the Public Administration Service Center to effectively serve people and businesses; and support funding for investment in a number of necessary projects to promote local socio -economic development.

Concluding the working session, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province Nguyen Hoang Giang highly appreciated the achievements of the communes of Sa Thay, Sa Binh, Ya Ly, Ro Koi, and Mo Rai in recent times.

Sa Binh commune leaders reported on the local socio-economic development situation and the operation of the two-level local government model.

Notably, the first Party Congress of the commune was successfully organized for the 2025-2030 term; the work of arranging, perfecting, and streamlining the organizational apparatus was put into stable operation without interruption; a number of good practices and effective models emerged.

The head of Quang Ngai provincial government pointed out the existing limitations that remote communes and western border communes of the province need to overcome soon.

Specifically, the performance of the two-level local government associated with the quality of staff is sometimes and in some places limited; the current situation has not been identified to propose breakthrough solutions to promote local growth; attracting businesses to invest in the area is still modest; regional coordination between communes in the region and the connection between localities and departments and branches is still limited; traffic infrastructure still has many difficulties and is not synchronized...
