Quang Tri launches southern fish harvest and kicks off 2024 sea tourism season

Along with that, many fishermen proactively equipped themselves with more modern fishing equipment and machines such as sea belly detectors and tuna fishing nets, so the fishing output and exploitation continuously increased, many fishing trips brought fishermen a catch worth from 500 million to more than 1 billion VND, helping many fishermen get rich from the sea.

To promote tourism-services development, along with promotion programs, promote the image of Quang Tri to domestic and international tourists, the province has invested in the Project on developing tourism infrastructure to support comprehensive growth in the Greater Mekong Sub-region - Quang Tri Sub-project with a total investment capital of more than 258 billion VND from loans from the Asian Development Bank to increase the competitiveness of Quang Tri's sea tourism destinations, of which Gio Linh district is the beneficiary.

The main purpose of the project is to improve infrastructure and tourism service environment, support Quang Tri tourism industry to exploit its strengths with unique tourism products to promote and attract international tourists as well as link with provinces in the region to develop high quality and diverse tourism products.
