This area is far from the main school in the center of Huong Lap commune and the roads are difficult to travel, so the support of the border guards is very timely and meaningful.

On this occasion, Huong Lap Border Guard Station also presented 9 gifts, each including 1,000,000 VND in cash and essential school supplies to students and 2 gifts to kindergartens in the area.

In the 2025-2026 school year, the entire Quang Tri province has nearly 433,560 children and students from primary to high school and continuing education.

Of these, there are nearly 88,790 preschool children, more than 15,620 primary school students, 117,930 secondary school students, more than 63,760 high school students and about 6,870 continuing education students.

Quang Tri province currently has 960 educational institutions; including 918 public educational institutions and 42 non-public educational institutions.

Previously, the provincial Department of Education and Training directed educational institutions to review and supplement facilities to enter the new school year.

On the morning of September 5, in the same atmosphere as the whole country, 294,643 students in Hue City entered the new school year 2025-2026 with an opening ceremony. From early morning, students eagerly went to school to attend the ceremony.

In preparation for the new school year, Thong Nhat Secondary School (Phu Xuan Ward), during the summer of 2025, renovated and repaired 4 classrooms, upgraded 3 subject rooms and functional rooms, and invested in repainting the entire interior of the classrooms and functional rooms. The school has been equipped with 1,276 sets of minimum teaching equipment, meeting teaching requirements in the new school year.

To prepare for the new school year, Hue City has allocated more than 422 billion VND to invest in infrastructure. Of which, 221 new classrooms will be built, 418 classrooms will be renovated and repaired; 138 new department and functional rooms will be invested in, upgraded and renovated; 108 libraries and restrooms will be built.

Regarding teaching equipment, Hue City has purchased 120,106 sets of minimum equipment according to Circulars 37, 38, 39/2021/TT-BGDDT, along with 6,658 sets of equipment outside the minimum list, with a total cost of more than 196 billion VND.

The education sector will advise Hue City leaders on appropriate policies to join the whole country in implementing the digital transformation policy, applying AI in management and teaching organization, ensuring that Hue has the conditions to implement the policy of comprehensive fundamental innovation in education and training.
