On August 27, Ms. Cap Thi Thien Trang - Head of the Management Board of the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel, Quang Tri province - said that in recent days, many tourists, especially young people, have come to Quang Tri Ancient Citadel to pay tribute and commemorate the heroic martyrs.
According to statistics, since the beginning of the year, there have been over 200,000 visitors to Quang Tri Citadel; especially, during the historic months of April and July, there were 48,385 and 45,750 visitors, including many foreign visitors.

According to Ms. Trang, after the movie Red Rain was released, many tourists came to Quang Tri Citadel to visit and pay tribute to the heroic martyrs, especially the young people. Everyone was moved when offering incense to the Quang Tri Citadel Memorial - the common grave of the heroic martyrs.
Going back in history, in the summer of 1972, thousands of the country's elite youths at the age of eighteen and twenty put aside their dreams and ambitions, put down their pens and followed the sacred call of the Fatherland to fight at Quang Tri Citadel.
Here, it is estimated that on average each liberation army soldier had to endure over 100 bombs and 200 artillery shells. The number of bombs and shells dropped by the US on the Quang Tri Citadel battlefield was about 328,000 tons, equivalent to the destructive power of 7 atomic bombs.
Quang Tri Citadel is considered the common grave of soldiers who fell for peace and national reunification.

The verse is like a message at the entrance to the Quang Tri Citadel Memorial - the common grave of heroic martyrs: Step lightly and speak softly/ So that my comrades can lie peacefully under the grass/ The Quang Tri sky is blue and windy/ Forever lulling the immortal song to infinity (Pham Dinh Lan).
