Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa - Chairman of Que Son District People's Committee said that the district's goal in 2025 is to strive for the total production value of the entire economy to increase by 11 - 12% compared to 2024.

Of which, the value of agriculture - forestry - fishery increased by 3% or more, the value of industry - handicrafts and construction increased by 11 - 13%, the value of trade - services increased by 11 - 13%.

By 2025, Que Son strives to have an average income per capita of 55 million VND or more. Build Dong Phu, Huong An, and Trung Phuoc towns to meet civilized urban standards.

To achieve the above objectives, the locality strengthens planning management; reviews, adjusts and supplements relevant plans to ensure consistency and synchronization with provincial, district and sectoral plans; continues to plan new industrial zones in line with the province's development orientation; speeds up the construction progress of key projects and works...

“This year, Que Son will continue to invest in infrastructure development, strengthen promotion and call for investment in industrial clusters. Focus on supporting the development of production of products with local advantages such as agarwood and wood processing. Mr. Nguyen Chi Tung - Vice Chairman of Que Son District People's Committee said that in the coming time, the locality will promote restructuring of the agricultural sector towards commodity production associated with eco-tourism development and new rural construction.

By 2025, focus on developing gardens with high economic value; strive to have about 10% of agricultural products from gardens have traceable origins and apply clean agricultural production standards.

Form, restore, expand and develop native plants of the district; in which, focus on building specialized production areas for Dai Binh pomelo, lotus, banana, bamboo shoots, etc.

Ensuring social security

Along with economic development, this year Que Son also focuses on synchronously implementing many solutions to continue improving people's spiritual life and ensuring social security.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa, the district leaders requested all levels and sectors to implement well the regimes and policies for people with revolutionary contributions and social protection beneficiaries; focus on renovating and upgrading martyrs' cemeteries; complete the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses as planned. Along with that, the locality focuses on improving the quality and effectiveness of vocational training, job creation, and increasing income for the people.

In the coming time, Que Son will mobilize maximum resources for poverty reduction, promote the spirit of mutual love, support each other to overcome difficulties and stabilize life.

Review school facilities, have plans to invest in new construction and repairs to ensure meeting the targets of building schools that meet national standards; inspect education quality according to the set plan, and link investment in national standard school facilities with new rural construction.

By 2025, Que Son strives to reduce the number of poor households by 50 or more; have 6 schools that have passed education quality accreditation and are recognized as meeting national standards; have at least 90% of villages, residential groups, families, agencies, units, and enterprises that meet cultural standards; the health insurance coverage rate in the district will reach 97% of the population...
