The culinary website Taste Atlas lists the "100 best stir-fried dishes in the world ", including stir-fried pho, stir-fried morning glory and two other unique Vietnamese dishes.
In the Top 100 best stir-fried dishes in the world announced by Taste Atlas, stir-fried morning glory with garlic is the Vietnamese dish with the highest ranking with a rating of 4.3/5 points. Ranked 17th on the list, the culinary site introduces: "Stir-fried morning glory with garlic is a traditional Vietnamese dish, suitable for vegetarians. This dish is made from a mixture of morning glory, garlic, fish sauce, salt and sugar. Morning glory is blanched before stir-frying with garlic, salt and sugar, fish sauce is added last, depending on taste. This vegetable dish is served hot, usually as part of a three-course meal. The first course is stir-fried, the second is boiled or steamed, and the third is soup. Stir-fried morning glory with garlic is also a great side dish with white rice."

Pho Xao is ranked 31st on the list with a rating of 4.1/5. Taste Atlas notes that this is a more convenient variation of the traditional Pho Nuoc dish. Pho Xao has the same ingredients as Pho Nuoc but is stir-fried instead of being served with broth.

The main ingredients of stir-fried pho usually include beef (or chicken), rice noodles and many kinds of chopped vegetables. When stir-fried, the dish is often seasoned with oyster sauce, soy sauce, fish sauce... Traditionally, diners often eat stir-fried pho with a plate of herbs or raw vegetables.
