At Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC), the listed gold price is 94.7 million VND/tael (buy) and 97.7 million VND/tael (sell). Today's gold price decreased by 3.1 million VND/tael for buying and 2.1 million VND/tael for selling compared to the closing price of yesterday's trading session.
On the contrary, DOJI Group listed the gold price at 98.6 million VND/tael (buy) and 100.4 million VND/tael (sell). Today's gold price increased by 600,000 VND/tael for buying and 900,000 VND/tael for selling compared to the previous trading session.
Bao Tin Minh Chau gold price is currently buying at 95.2 million VND/tael and selling at 97.7 million VND/tael. Thus, compared to the previous session, the gold price decreased by 2.8 million VND/tael for buying and decreased by 2.1 million VND/tael for selling.
At Mi Hong Jewelry Company, SJC gold is bought at 95 million VND/tael and sold at 97.5 million VND/tael. Thus, compared to the previous session, gold prices increased by 300,000 VND/tael in both directions.

World gold price today March 22, 2025 and world gold price fluctuation chart in the past 24 hours
According to Kitco, the world gold price recorded at 4am today, Vietnam time, was 3,013.25 USD/ounce. Today's gold price decreased by 0.71% compared to yesterday. Converted according to the USD exchange rate on the free market (25,882 VND/USD), the world gold price is about 94 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees). Thus, the price of SJC gold bars is 3.3 million VND/tael higher than the international gold price.

Gold prices fell more than 1% on a stronger dollar and profit-taking, although lingering geopolitical and economic uncertainty, along with the prospect of a US Federal Reserve rate cut, helped bullion prices rise for a third straight week.
Spot gold fell 1.4% to $3,001.03 an ounce at 10:17 a.m. ET (1457 GMT). U.S. gold futures fell 1.2% to $3,007.80. Bullion has gained 0.7% this week.
Gold, considered a safe investment in times of geopolitical and economic uncertainty and typically thriving in low-interest-rate environments, has hit 16 record highs this year, hitting an all-time peak of $3,057.21 an ounce on Thursday.
"The market is taking a little breather. There's been some profit-taking at these levels and the dollar is also stronger today," said Marex analyst Edward Meir.
The dollar (.DXY) rose 0.2% to a two-week high and made greenback-denominated bullion more expensive for overseas buyers.
“Ongoing safe-haven demand, based on both trade concerns and geopolitical risks, continues to be the main driver,” said Peter Grant, vice president and senior metals strategist at Zaner Metals.
US President Donald Trump still intends to impose new reciprocal tariffs on April 2.
The Federal Reserve kept its benchmark interest rate unchanged on Wednesday as widely expected, but said it would cut it twice, each by 0.25 percentage point, before the end of the year.
Traders are pricing in 71 basis points of monetary easing this year from the Fed with at least two more 25 basis point rate cuts, with July's cut already fully priced in, LSEG data showed.
Israel announced it was intensifying air, ground and sea strikes against Hamas in Gaza to pressure the release of the remaining hostages, but in fact it has canceled a two-month ceasefire and launched a full-scale air and ground campaign against the dominant Palestinian militant group.
Spot silver fell 2.2% to $32.80 an ounce, platinum fell 1.3% to $972.25 and palladium was steady at $952.04. All three metals were on a weekly decline.
