With the theme "Back to childhood, sending all the love", the festival brought children a space that was both traditional and creative with many attractive and interesting experiences.
Participating in the program, children experienced many meaningful activities such as: making moon cakes, painting papier-mâché masks, molding clay figurines, making star lanterns...
In addition, visitors, people and children enjoyed many special performances such as: Xam singing, ball dancing, masked dancing, lion, lion and dragon dancing, and the storytelling scene “The Legend of the Full Moon Night”. The appearance of famous artists such as comedian Trung Ruoi and magicians in the festival also brought to the audience impressive and attractive performances and joyful and refreshing laughter.
In particular, at the festival, there was an auction of the painting “Full Moon Festival Night” made by children at the Ninh Binh Social Work and Protection Center. With the auction proceeds of 30 million VND from the painting, the Organizing Committee donated it to the Ninh Binh Social Work and Protection Center to buy books, school supplies, clothes and scholarships for the children.
At the end of the program, the innocent smiles, bright eyes of the children and the joy of tourists and people in the moment of breaking the cake created a complete and warm Mid-Autumn Festival. "Thung Nham Moon Festival" not only brought children a colorful and laughter-filled Mid-Autumn Festival, but also aroused profound human values of love and sharing, thereby contributing to nurturing children's souls and spreading the message of a close-knit community rich in humane traditions.
