Bustling Hop Thanh Com Festival 2025

On October 18 and 19, the Hop Thanh Com Huong Festival took place in Hop Thanh commune, Lao Cai province, attracting a large number of locals and tourists. This is an annual event to honor the traditional Com making profession of ethnic minorities and is an opportunity to promote the unique culinary culture of the Northwest highlands.

In particular, visitors can also directly experience the stages of making Com, from selecting young sticky rice, roasting, pounding, to screening and enjoying the characteristic fragrant sticky Com flavor.
