Another food street is about to open in Hanoi

On the evening of January 18, Nguyen Van Tuyet food street (Dong Da district, Hanoi) will officially open, this will be the third food street in Hanoi.

On January 15, at the meeting with news agencies and newspapers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, Head of the Urban Management Department of Dong Da District Truong Minh Quang said that at 7:00 p.m. on January 18, Nguyen Van Tuyet food street will officially open, adding more space for entertainment and culinary enjoyment for the capital's residents and tourists.

Accordingly, the Nguyen Van Tuyet Food Street space extends from the intersection of Tay Son Street (at house number 298 to the intersection of Yen Lang Street at number 53); the street length is 840m, the roadway and sidewalk width is from 10 - 12m; the total usable area is 2.84ha.

The activities of Nguyen Van Tuyet Food Street will focus on developing existing businesses here. Operating hours are from 18:00 to 24:00 every Saturday and Sunday. During this time, motor vehicles will be banned from Nguyen Van Tuyet Food Street to reserve space for pedestrians to enjoy food, cultural and artistic activities, etc.

To effectively manage and operate the Nguyen Van Tuyet Food Street, the People's Committee of Dong Da District has assigned units to develop regulations and rules for management, operations, and participation in service business in the area... as a basis for long-term maintenance of activities here, ensuring publicity and transparency.

This will be the third culinary street of Hanoi (next to Tong Duy Tan Street (Hoan Kiem District); Ngoc Island - Ngu Xa (Ba Dinh District)), opening on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of the people in the area, forming another cultural and culinary address of the capital Hanoi. At the same time, building the image of tourism in the capital Hanoi as a "Safe - Friendly - Quality - Attractive" destination, contributing to the socio -economic development and tourism of the capital in general and Dong Da district in particular.
