On the evening of October 18, the special music night “Secret Garden Live in Vietnam” took place at the National Convention Center, My Dinh ( Hanoi ), attracting thousands of music lovers.

The legendary artist duo Secret Garden brought the audience impressive emotions on the stage of Hanoi Capital.

Like previous years, all proceeds from ticket sales for the concert will be used for charity purposes. This year, the Organizing Committee will use all ticket sales from the concert to support people in areas affected by storms and floods.

Artist Rolf Løvland shared that in Norway, the band read and watched news about natural disasters and floods in Vietnam, so they felt that performing within the framework of the program "Good morning Vietnam" and accompanying social charity activities was very meaningful.

The program “Secret Garden Live in Vietnam” is the 3rd concert within the framework of the international music project series for the community “Good Morning Vietnam”, initiated and implemented by Nhan Dan Newspaper and IB Group Vietnam, after the success of 2 events “Kenny G Live in Vietnam” and “Bond Live in Vietnam."

This is the first time the legendary duo Secret Garden has performed in Vietnam. The concert “Secret Garden Live in Vietnam” is the opening point of Secret Garden’s World tour to celebrate the band’s 30th anniversary this year.

In this special music program, Secret Garden brings to the public a collection of works that have made their name, divided into three main themes: nature; beautiful scenery, human relationships; culture. Accordingly, the outstanding musical works include “Windacer,” “Nocturne” (vocal: Cathrine), “Song From a Secret Garden,” “Elan,” Lullaby For Grown-UPS (vocal: Espen), “Sometimes When it Rains,” “Sleep Song” (vocal: Cathrine), “The Reel,” “The Dream,” “Renaissance,” “Serenade To Spring”

Through their emotional performance, the two artists brought the audience moments of sublimation in a luxurious, yet intimate and nostalgic musical space. In particular, in the program, the legendary duo performed the song "You Raise Me Up" - their famous musical work that has been covered by a series of the world's leading singers and bands such as Josh Groban, Westlife, Il Divo, Hauser... and more than 1,000 other artists.

With a minimalist stage setting, honoring the storytelling through sound, Vietnamese audiences are led through a journey of poetic music enjoyment. From “wordless” melodies rich in imagery to hybrid songs of classical, Nordic-Celtic folk, suitable for the sophisticated enjoyment space of Vietnamese audiences during the autumn days of Hanoi…

Sharing with the press before the concert, artist Rolf Løvland said that Vietnam brings artists a very unique source of inspiration and the artists hope to repay that affection with profound and memorable performances.

The band chose Vietnam as the starting point for their 30th anniversary tour because they felt the warm affection and passion for music from Vietnamese audiences... artist Rolf Løvland revealed that after the show in Hanoi, Secret Garden will continue their tour in major cities in China before returning to Norway.

Not only is it a bridge to bring world-class music to domestic audiences, the Organizing Committee of “Good Morning Vietnam” also wants to promote the image of Vietnam to the world through MVs of international artists participating in the program.

Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper Le Quoc Minh said that this year, the two artists will film a MV in Ninh Binh with majestic mountains, rivers and nature...

Secret Garden consists of two members, Fionnuala Sherry (female) and Rolf Lovland (male), founded in 1994. Rolf Lovland won a Norwegian Grammy Award and is one of the most famous composers in the country, with 60 songs on the radio charts of the Norwegian national radio channel.

Fionnuala Sherry is Irish, graduated from Dublin College of Music, and has 10 years of experience in the RTE Symphony Orchestra.

The combination of two top artists with different musical styles makes their music both academic and conquers the mass audience with its own distinct Nordic quality./.
