Gia Lai Department of Industry and Trade will receive the Market Management Department in its original state.

(GLO)- On the afternoon of February 18, Gia Lai Department of Industry and Trade held a meeting to implement Official Dispatch No. 839/BCT-TCQLTT dated February 6, 2025 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Official Dispatch No. 303/UBND-NC dated February 11, 2025 of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee on coordination in receiving the original status of the Market Management Department.

At the working session, the Department of Industry and Trade and the Provincial Market Management Department agreed that the reorganization process must ensure synchronization and unity in task implementation to achieve the highest efficiency; ensure that the reorganization does not affect the performance of assigned functions and tasks of departments and units, does not leave vacant areas and fields, and improves efficiency and effectiveness of operations, especially tasks related to serving people and businesses.

After receiving the Market Management Department in its original state from the Ministry of Industry and Trade and reorganizing it into the Market Management Department under the Department of Industry and Trade, the Department of Industry and Trade will develop a plan to reorganize the internal organization of the Market Management Department to ensure the principle of maximally streamlining the apparatus to perform professional and specialized work, not arranging separate departments to do office work, internal administration, and synthesis, not duplicating functions and tasks between departments and units, ensuring effective and efficient operations. The time to receive the original state of the Provincial Market Management Department according to the direction of superiors is the first quarter of 2025.

After receiving the Market Management Department from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the arrangement and organizational structure of the Department is as follows: The Department's leadership includes the Director and 3 Deputy Directors of the Department. Specialized departments and units under the Department include: Department Office, Department Inspectorate, Trade Management Department, Industrial Management Department, Energy Management Department, Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion Center under the Department of Industry and Trade, Market Management Department under the Department of Industry and Trade.
