Exciting karaoke contest to celebrate Vietnamese Women's Day

(NLDO) - On the occasion of Vietnamese Women's Day October 20, the Labor Newspaper Union organized a karaoke contest with the participation of many officers, employees, reporters, and editors of the newspaper.

On the afternoon of October 20, the Karaoke Singing Contest to celebrate Vietnamese Women's Day took place at the 2nd floor Hall of the Lao Dong Newspaper. The atmosphere of the contest was exciting and joyful right from the first performances. Many performances brought moments of relaxation and a joyful and exciting atmosphere. The songs in the contest focused on praising the beauty of women, homeland, love, friendship, etc.

The judges of the contest are Mr. Nguyen To Binh - General Secretary of the editorial board, Chairman of the Labor Union of Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper; musician Nguyen Van Chung and journalist, director Thanh Hiep - Deputy Head of the Culture and Sports Department.

The jury highly appreciated the enthusiastic participation of the trade union units, and also recognized many quality internal singers, promising to be the "seeds" for the editorial office's cultural activities in the coming time.

At the end of the contest, the organizing committee awarded 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 5 consolation prizes along with many attractive gifts to the contestants participating in the program.

The contest is not only a cultural playground to celebrate Vietnamese Women's Day October 20, but also an opportunity for the collective of the Lao Dong Newspaper to strengthen solidarity, spread the spirit of love for life, love for the profession and pride in the common home of journalists.
