Serious traffic accident at intersection in Binh Chanh

(NLDO) - After colliding with a container truck, a woman riding a motorbike died.

On March 9, authorities in Binh Chanh district (HCMC) are investigating the cause of a serious traffic accident.

Initial information, at about 1:00 p.m. the same day, a container truck with a Ho Chi Minh City license plate was traveling on Tran Van Giau Street, from Long An province to Ho Chi Minh City.

When arriving at the intersection of Tran Van Giau - Lang Le Bau Co - Vinh Loc (Binh Chanh district), there was a collision with a motorbike also with a Ho Chi Minh City license plate driven by a woman (direction of travel unknown).

The accident caused the woman to fall onto the road and die on the spot. The scene showed the motorbike lying under the container truck, about 30 meters away from the woman’s body.

The incident also caused traffic congestion in the area. Binh Chanh District authorities coordinated with the Traffic Police to the scene to extract security camera footage and identify the victim.
