Serious accident involving tanker truck in Thu Duc City

(NLDO) - After being run over by a tanker truck, the victim died on the spot, and the motorbike was completely destroyed.

On December 29, Thu Duc City Police (HCMC) are investigating the cause of a serious traffic accident.

Initial information, at more than 10 p.m. the same day, the male driver was driving a concrete mixer truck with a Ho Chi Minh City license plate on Le Van Viet Street, from Thu Duc intersection to My Thanh intersection.

While the tanker was going downhill at the intersection of Man Thien Street, Tang Nhon Phu A Ward, it collided with a motorbike with a Ca Mau province license plate driven by a man.

The victim fell onto the road and was run over by the tanker truck, killing him instantly. At the scene, the motorbike was also crushed by the tanker truck.

Thu Duc City authorities then arrived at the scene to extract camera footage and test the driver for drugs.

Thu Duc City authorities are investigating the cause.
