The family of General Vo Nguyen Giap has just announced the temporary suspension of receiving visitors to visit the General's grave at Vung Chua - Yen Island (Phu Trach commune, Quang Tri ). This decision was made after the area was heavily affected by the recent storm No. 10.

According to information released on the afternoon of October 3, many items in the Vung Chua - Yen Island area were damaged and need time to be repaired. During the repair period, the reception of officials, people and tourists to offer incense and pay their respects at the General's tomb will be temporarily suspended to ensure safety and preserve the landscape and order of the tomb.
