Tan Chau prepares conditions for new communes and wards to operate.

On the afternoon of June 16, Tan Chau Town Party Secretary Nguyen Van Cop chaired a conference to announce the decision to establish the Preparatory Committee for 5 communes and wards and to deploy a plan to organize a trial operation of Party, government and Fatherland Front agencies in the new administrative units.

Chairman of Tan Chau Town People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Lam requested the leaders of the Preparatory Committees to closely coordinate with the Finance Department in building the budget estimate.

Accordingly, the Preparatory Committees of the five new communes and wards will directly direct all contents and tasks of preparing for the operation of the grassroots political apparatus during the trial period (starting from June 16 to June 26, 2025) and will self-dissolve after July 1, 2025.

At the conference, representatives of localities and units raised difficulties and problems in arranging facilities, working equipment and personnel; and also mentioned the progress of completing the activities of the team of part-time staff when the new administrative units officially operate.

In his directive speech, Chairman of Tan Chau Town People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Lam requested the leaders of the Preparatory Committees to closely coordinate with the Finance Department in developing budget estimates, ensuring salary and allowance regimes for officials after July 1. At the same time, it is necessary to prepare meeting scenarios according to instructions, ensuring consistency and efficiency during the testing process.

Concluding the conference, Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Cop highly appreciated the proactive and responsible spirit of the City Party Committee Standing Committee and the advisory units in selecting and arranging the leadership personnel of the Preparatory Committee. He requested that the Preparatory Committees of 5 communes and wards continue to promote the highest sense of responsibility so that the trial operation process takes place successfully on June 22, creating a foundation for the apparatus of the new communes and wards to operate smoothly, continuously and effectively from July 1, 2025.
