Hon Dat strengthens inspection to ensure food safety during Mid-Autumn Festival 2025

On September 30, a working group from Hon Dat commune (An Giang province) randomly inspected 7 businesses selling moon cakes, soft drinks, candies, and grocery stores in the area.

At the business establishments, the members of the delegation inspected the compliance with the provisions of the law on food safety, such as: Business registration license, health certificate, certificate of food hygiene and safety knowledge, food hygiene and safety commitment and conducted actual inspection of labels and origins of food products sold at the establishments.

During the inspection, the working group reminded and disciplined business owners to strictly comply with food safety regulations; propagated and disseminated legal knowledge on food safety, in order to raise awareness and sense of responsibility to the community in ensuring food safety.
