Vietnam National Petroleum Group supports Son La with 2 billion VND to overcome the consequences of natural disasters

On the afternoon of October 5, the Vietnam National Petroleum Group donated 2 billion VND to support Son La province to overcome the consequences of natural disasters in communes and villages.

Mr. Luu Van Tuyen, General Director of Vietnam National Petroleum Group, said: The collective leadership, officers and employees of Vietnam National Petroleum Group deeply sympathize with the heavy losses that people in communes of Son La province have suffered due to storms and floods; wish to join hands with the government and people to overcome difficulties to soon restore production and stabilize life.

Vietnam National Petroleum Group has donated 2 billion VND to the Fatherland Front Committee of Son La province to join hands with Son La province to overcome the consequences of the storm.

Comrade Nguyen Dinh Viet, Chairman of Son La Provincial People's Committee, informed the working delegation of Vietnam National Petroleum Group about the housing situation for households affected by natural disasters in Son La.

From July 29 to October 2, the Son La Provincial Fatherland Front Committee received support from organizations and individuals of VND 51,819,898,000 to support Son La province in overcoming the consequences of floods in the area.

Comrade Nguyen Dinh Viet, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Son La province, expressed his deep gratitude for the affection, care and support that the Vietnam National Petroleum Group has given to the people of Son La ethnic groups.

In 2024, the Vietnam National Petroleum Group donated 6 billion VND to Son La province to support people in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters; built kitchens and auxiliary works for Huong Xuan Kindergarten and Chieng Hac Secondary School, Chieng Hac commune; built public houses, boarding houses for Chieng Sai Primary School and built people's bridges.
