During the 2-day conference (October 7 and 8), 120 trainees who are commune-level officials, civil servants and public employees of 55 communes and wards (clusters of communes and wards in the former Dong Nai province) were informed by reporters from the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, the Provincial Police, and the Regional Political Academy II on a number of topics: Instructions on protecting state secrets; solutions to improve the effectiveness of protecting state secrets in the field of ethnicity, belief and religion in the current period; some characteristics and ethnic relations in Vietnam; the Party's viewpoints, policies and laws of the State on ethnicity and religion; state management of Buddhism, Catholicism and Protestantism...
The organizers also answered some practical problems that students encountered while working in the field of ethnicity, belief, and religion according to the two-level local government model.
