BTO-On the morning of October 25, the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Quality Management coordinated with the Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality; Binh Thuan Provincial Post Office; MobiFone Binh Thuan to organize the Conference "Quality management, food safety and application of digital technology in production and business of agricultural and aquatic products".
The conference was attended by nearly 70 delegates who are food safety management officers, officers in charge of food safety sub-criteria in new rural construction in Phan Thiet city; representatives of enterprises, production and processing facilities of agricultural and aquatic products in the whole province.
During the session, delegates listened to the reporters disseminate new regulations on food safety quality management, including updating and guiding the regulations on granting Food Safety Eligibility Certificates according to Circular 38/2018/BNNPTNT and Circular 32/2022/TT-BNNPTNT. Specifically, guiding some new points on dossier components, procedures, regulations on food safety knowledge confirmation; re-issuing food safety certificates; guiding the implementation of criterion 17.10 (Proportion of households and food production and business establishments complying with regulations on ensuring food safety) for new rural communes. Particularly for advanced new rural communes, they will listen to guidance on criterion 18.4 (proportion of households and food production and business establishments trained in food safety knowledge); criterion 18.5 (no food safety incidents); Criterion 18.6 (proportion of primary processing and manufacturing facilities for agricultural, forestry and fishery products certified for food safety).
The training conference also introduced and guided production and business establishments to operate and sell on the e-commerce platform postmart.vn; digital transformation in agriculture with the mobifone application to help farmers be more convenient and efficient in cultivation.
In addition, the Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality guides and disseminates to delegates the legal regulations on pre-packaged goods, management of measurement of the quantity of pre-packaged goods, and recommendations when trading in pre-packaged goods so that people, businesses and local management agencies know and comply with the regulations.
