In order to strive to complete the production plan targets for the Summer-Autumn crop and the whole year 2024, ensure the overall growth rate of the agricultural sector, and improve production efficiency, the Department of Agriculture recommends that farmers sow and plant Summer-Autumn rice according to the crop calendar: Early season sow seedlings from June 10-15, direct sowing from June 15-20; Medium season sow seedlings from June 15-25, direct sowing from June 20-25; expand the area of ​​​​intensified rice cultivation (SRI) to reduce input costs (seeds, fertilizers, pesticides). Increase the use of manure, organic fertilizers, microbial organic fertilizers...; implement integrated plant health management according to IPHM, early detection and direct timely and effective prevention of pests and diseases; implement production linkages into concentrated areas, synchronously apply technical advances. Encourage and facilitate agricultural service cooperatives to expand their service types, especially plant protection services and agricultural product consumption.
