Infantry Regiment 994 is located in Duc Trong district, stationed at 2 bases (1 base in Dang Sron village, Ninh Gia and 1 base in Lien Nghia town, Duc Trong district). The regiment carries out the core political task of training, combat readiness, and at the same time carries out other sudden tasks when assigned by the Party Committee - Provincial Military Command.
Lieutenant Colonel Mai Tat Thanh - Commander of Infantry Regiment 994 said: Determining the task of training new soldiers is a particularly important task, so the Party Committee - Command of the Regiment has organized the assignment of specific tasks to the BB1 Boards and Battalions, and developed a plan to train and foster cadres for the new soldier training framework.
Accordingly, the Regiment Party Committee has thoroughly grasped the directives and resolutions of Party committees at all levels on training work, focusing on the Conclusion of the Regiment Party Committee dated January 15, 2025 on continuing to implement Resolution No. 397-NQ/DU dated September 21, 2023 of the Regiment Party Committee on improving training quality for the period 2023 - 2030 and the following years.
The Regiment Commander has also thoroughly grasped, assigned tasks, built up determination, and promoted the role of the cadres, especially the platoon-level cadres, in managing, training, and educating soldiers. The cadres' instructions during the training process must closely follow the plan, training schedule, closely follow the troops, and closely follow the training grounds and training grounds; all activities of the troops must always have cadres directly managing, commanding, inspecting, and urging.
In addition, the Party Committee - Regiment Command has also thoroughly instructed the cadres to take preventive measures and resolutely fight against and handle violations of military style, ethics and conduct. Focus on doing well the political and ideological work, closely combining training with regular training and discipline.
Lieutenant Colonel Mai Tat Thanh also informed that the Party Committee - Regiment Command has deployed the development of a training plan for the new soldier training framework, training cadres according to hierarchy, focusing on training cadres of companies, platoons, squads directly managing, training, and coaching soldiers, as well as organizing to overcome the weaknesses and weak points of the previous year.
The regiment has also carefully prepared a system of training plans for tactical teams, infantry combat techniques, regulations, and physical strength; developed a plan through field training plans before entering training and approved the training plans on all contents (50% of the total training program has been completed; the unit has organized, approved, and approved the training plans for the first month of training). Completed the training program for new soldiers according to regulations. Developed a plan to assign units to prepare halls, training grounds, training grounds, materials, equipment, and teaching aids to serve the training of new soldiers in 2025.
The 994th Infantry Regiment has also implemented the renewal of training materials including: Training materials for infantry combat techniques, tactical training, physical training; system of pictures, models of teaching aids, standard signs... ensuring adequate quantity and quality of training materials for new soldiers. The unit has also organized training for new soldier training framework officers. At the same time, the organization of the new soldier training framework of the BB1 Battalion ensures compliance with regulations. Ensure technical equipment for training work is in accordance with regulations.
Infantry Regiment 994 will receive new soldiers on February 13; organize training courses from February 17 to February 28. The Regiment has strengthened the system of billboards, propaganda slogans; the system of banners and slogans to serve the work of receiving and training new soldiers. The Party Cell of Battalion 1 plans to organize activities to issue a Resolution to lead the implementation of the task of training new soldiers to join the army in 2025. Organize training for political cadres, arrange the payroll, perfect the Party organization, the Youth Union organization, and the Military Council after recruiting new soldiers. Prepare a system of party work and political work books, and a system of political lesson plans according to regulations. Grasp the ideological situation, qualifications and capacity of the management and training staff. Synthesize and check the number of party members, youth union members, and political quality of new cadres and soldiers participating in training to monitor and report according to decentralization.
The 994th Infantry Regiment has also fully prepared food, accommodation, and study and living supplies for new soldiers, arranged beds, mattresses, and arranged internal affairs; pasted bed and hat labels, and attached military ranks and insignia to 125 new soldiers before they entered training. Planning the production area according to the VAC model ensures adequate supply of vegetables, meat, and fish for soldiers' meals during training. Constructing the environmental landscape, planting and caring for flowers around the new soldier training unit to create a cool, green, clean, and beautiful space when new soldiers arrive at the unit. At the same time, doing a good job of epidemic prevention and environmental sanitation in the new soldiers' eating and living areas.
