Infantry Regiment 994 receives nearly 500 new soldiers

Nearly 500 young people were present at Infantry Regiment 994, Provincial Military Command to begin the training process.

In 2025, Infantry Regiment 994 was assigned to train nearly 500 new soldiers from 8 districts and cities; including 2 female soldiers sent to train at Military School of Military Region 7. The work of receiving new soldiers was carried out safely and in accordance with procedures.

New soldiers were briefed on their duties and organized into platoons and squads, quickly settling into their accommodation and carrying out necessary preparations.

According to the report, the quality of new recruits assigned to the training regiment is higher than previous years. Of which, over 74% of soldiers are between 18 and 25 years old; the rate of soldiers with health type 1 and 2 is 60%; 15 soldiers have university or college degrees...

Colonel Dinh Hong Tieng, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, directly inspected the accommodation, living conditions, training and coaching of new soldiers of Regiment 994.

Immediately after receiving them, the regimental officers guided the new soldiers to fill out additional personal information, proactively met and grasped the specific situation of each person.

As planned, from March 1, new soldiers will officially enter a 3-month training program.

Meals for new soldiers are guaranteed to be nutritious, hygienic, and meet health and physical needs during training. Meals are carefully prepared, balancing food groups, helping soldiers quickly adapt to the military environment and maintain the best physical condition.
