Thai Binh: Prosecution and temporary detention of the Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hung Ha district

On the evening of October 3, Thai Binh Provincial Police informed about the expansion of the investigation into the case of "Abuse of power while performing official duties" and "Abuse of position and power while performing official duties" that occurred in Hong An commune, Hung Ha district, Thai Binh province.

Accordingly, based on the results of the extended investigation into the case of "Abuse of power while performing official duties" and "Abuse of position and power while performing official duties" occurring in Hong An commune, Hung Ha district, the Investigation Police Department of Hung Ha district police has issued a decision to prosecute the accused, an arrest warrant to temporarily detain and search the workplace and residence of Mr. Vu Van Hanh (born in 1970, in Dong Do commune, Hung Ha district), the Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hung Ha district, to investigate the act of "Lack of responsibility causing serious consequences".

Previously, the Investigation Police Agency of Hung Ha District Police issued a decision to prosecute and temporarily detain Mr. Nguyen Xuan Duong (born in 1966, in Tran Lam Ward, Thai Binh City). Before being temporarily detained, Mr. Duong held the following positions: Chairman of Hung Ha District People's Committee; Deputy Director of Thai Binh Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and Deputy Director of Thai Binh Department of Science and Technology.
