Thailand's impressive debut

The 2024 FIFA Futsal World Cup has officially kicked off with four matches on the first day of competition. A notable Southeast Asian representative, the Thai futsal team, also competed in this series of matches against a strong opponent, Croatia.

In Group A, the match between the Uzbekistan futsal team and the Netherlands was extremely dramatic. The two teams created a very attractive score chase and ended in a 3-3 draw. In the remaining match, Paraguay won 5-2 against Costa Rica.
