Appraisal of the identity design mockup for the National Achievements Exhibition

VHO - On the afternoon of August 18, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the National Achievements Exhibition, chaired a meeting of the Content Subcommittee on the appraisal of the identity design mockup of the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day, September 2.

According to the Deputy Minister, up to now, the design work and items of the National Achievement Exhibition have been carried out by ministries, branches, localities, enterprises and construction units to keep up with the schedule.

Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong chaired the meeting of the Content Subcommittee on the appraisal of the Exhibition identity design mockup.

The overall design of the Exhibition was participated by an international consultant, however, the Content Subcommittee with the role of appraisal still needs to review and rehearse once again in the spirit of the Prime Minister's direction "running and lining up at the same time", so that the items when designing and constructing ensure harmony, unity, high efficiency, ensuring political and aesthetic values.

According to the Deputy Minister, the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day with the theme Radiant Vietnam: 80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness is a national scale event, a large event never before held with the participation of ministries, branches, central organizations, 34 provinces and cities, enterprises, strategic partner countries, diplomatic corps...

The exhibition is divided into many display areas including: General display area (Kim Quy Exhibition House) with the theme Vietnam - journey to a new era . There will be an exhibition space with the theme Vietnam - Country - People implemented by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, displaying culture, art, common achievements including Vietnamese culture; introducing and honoring the beauty of nature, country and people of Vietnam.

The exhibition space with the theme of 95 years of the Party flag guiding the way , organized by Nhan Dan Newspaper. The exhibition space with the theme of Development Creation, organized by Nhan Dan Newspaper and the Committees, Ministries, branches, ministerial-level agencies, and agencies under the Government, will tell about the history of development and achievements in various fields of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The exhibition items are being urgently completed.

The exhibition space with the theme of Rich Provinces and Strong Countries displays achievements in the renovation period; the history of formation, development and transformation, along with the cultural identity, advantages and development potential of 34 provinces and cities. The exhibition space with the theme of Economic Locomotives displays the development achievements of state-owned enterprises that are the locomotives of the Vietnamese economy, carried out by state-owned enterprises that are the locomotives of the Vietnamese economy.

The exhibition space with the theme of Entrepreneurship and Nation Building displays the achievements of typical private enterprises and national brand enterprises expressing the aspiration to build a prosperous and strong country. In the outdoor exhibition area with the theme of Integration and Development, there are five exhibition spaces. The exhibition space with the theme For a Green Future is implemented by the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The exhibition space with the theme of Sky Aspiration is implemented by the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Construction.

The exhibition space with the theme of Sword and Shield is implemented by the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of National Defense. The exhibition space with the theme of National Festival includes exhibition activities, fairs on tourism, culture, cuisine, entertainment areas and experiential activities for children... rich in content, diverse in form. And the space for performing art programs

The international exhibition area and 12 cultural industries (at the Exhibition Hall Block A) with the theme of Integration and Creativity are divided into two exhibition spaces. In which, the exhibition space with the theme of Vietnam and the world will be the exhibition space of the diplomatic sector and the Embassies in Vietnam. The exhibition space with the theme of Creativity for Construction will display and arrange the works and products of 12 cultural industries and the achievements of each field.

Meeting scene

At the meeting, representatives of the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of National Defense, the Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the National Assembly's Strategic Policy Committee, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs commented on the selection of images used to achieve symbolic value and the simulation models must ensure accurate parameters and respect historical values.

Director of Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Bach Lien Huong said that it is necessary to unify the main color of the letters used at the Exhibition, which is yellow; the size of the symbols must be proportional and balanced.

Giving comments at the meeting, the representative of the National Assembly's Strategic Policy Committee said that the Information Counters must be linked to the hall numbers to ensure clarity and ease of access for the people.

Concluding the meeting, Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong expressed his thanks to representatives of ministries and branches for contributing very practical ideas to complete the Exhibition design mockup.

The Deputy Minister agreed with the view that it is necessary to select symbols that are appropriate to the space and political purpose. Images must achieve symbolic value and simulation models must ensure accurate parameters and respect historical values.

According to the Deputy Minister, opinions at the meeting will be collected to send to the implementing unit for timely correction and implementation of construction on schedule.

Also according to Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong, to prepare for the opening ceremony taking place on August 28 to ensure the quality and requirements set by the Party and State leaders, from now until August 20, the Content Subcommittee needs to continue to review and inspect the entire Exhibition space.

“The exhibition is not only a political and cultural highlight, but also a catalyst to spread national spirit, arousing the aspiration to develop a strong country. This is the highlight in the series of activities to celebrate National Day September 2, creating an exciting and united atmosphere among the people,” the Deputy Minister emphasized.
