Visit and give gifts to children with thalassemia

On the afternoon of October 22, at the Quang Ninh Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital (Tuan Chau ward), the Provincial Red Cross in collaboration with An Du Quang Ninh Payment Data and Communications Joint Stock Company visited, encouraged and gave gifts to children with thalassemia.

Leaders of the Provincial Red Cross Society and An Du Quang Ninh Payment Data and Communications Joint Stock Company visited, encouraged, and presented gifts to support children being treated at Quang Ninh Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital.

Accordingly, 10 gifts (each worth 2 million VND) were given to 10 children in difficult circumstances who are being treated for thalassemia at the hospital. This is a practical activity responding to the Campaign "Each organization, each individual is associated with a humanitarian address" launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross .

Also within the framework of the program, officers and employees of An Du Quang Ninh Payment Data and Communications Joint Stock Company participated in voluntary blood donation, contributing to supplementing the blood supply for emergency and treatment work at the hospital. The received blood source is especially important for children with congenital hemolytic anemia, a dangerous genetic disease that requires regular blood transfusions to sustain life.

The program not only provides timely material support and blood resources for treatment, but also spreads the humane message of the noble act: "A drop of blood given - A life saved", calling on the community to join hands for the health and future of sick children who need to be shared.
