Appointment of 2 Deputy Heads of Customs Branch Region VIII

On the afternoon of October 22, the Customs Department (Ministry of Finance) held a conference to announce the decision to appoint the Deputy Head of the Customs Branch of Region VIII. Attending the conference were comrades: Nguyen Manh Tuan, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board; Tran Nhu Long, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial People's Committee's Party Committee; Nguyen Thanh Hung, Deputy Director of the Customs Department.

At the conference, the representative of the Customs Department announced the decision to appoint comrade Nguyen Canh Thang, Head of the Customs Control Team and comrade Ngo Tung Duong, Head of the Post-clearance Inspection and Collection Team, to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Customs Branch of Region VIII.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Hung, Deputy Director of the Customs Department, presented the decision to appoint two new Deputy Directors of the Customs Branch of Region VIII.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Nguyen Thanh Hung, Deputy Director of the Customs Department, congratulated comrades Nguyen Canh Thang and Ngo Tung Duong on being trusted, assigned and appointed to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Customs Branch of Region VIII to perfect the leadership apparatus of the unit.

Leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee and the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee presented flowers to congratulate the two Deputy Heads of the Customs Branch of Region VIII.

He emphasized that comrade Nguyen Canh Thang and comrade Ngo Tung Duong were both well-trained, had held many positions, and had a lot of working experience.

He also expressed his belief that with their strong political will, rich practical experience and high sense of responsibility, the two comrades will continue to promote their capacity, excellently complete their tasks, continue to contribute with the industry to affirm their core role, meet the requirements of the tasks in the new situation, and successfully implement the targets assigned by the Ministry of Finance , the Customs Department, and Quang Ninh province.

He requested that the two new Deputy Heads of the Customs Branch of Region VIII , together with the collective, effectively implement the resolutions of the Central and the province in conjunction with customs activities, coordinate well with all levels and sectors in performing tasks, continuously study, strive, and demonstrate the mettle of a unit leader.

The collective leadership of the Party Committee of Customs Branch VIII presented flowers to congratulate the two new Deputy Heads of Customs Branch VIII.

In their acceptance speeches, comrade Nguyen Canh Thang and comrade Ngo Tung Duong expressed their thanks to the leaders of the Ministry of Finance, the Customs Department, the Provincial Party Committee, and the Provincial People's Committee for their trust and appointment to their new positions. They promised to always strive, learn, be dedicated, and immediately embark on new tasks, inheriting the experiences together with the leadership of the Customs Branch of Region VIII to build a united, strong, disciplined, honest, regular, and modern unit.
